Shopify AI Automation
End-to-end Shopify automation: product research, competitor analysis, auto-upload after owner approval, order management, and full store operations.
Project Details
This project delivered a complete AI-powered operations layer for a Shopify store. The system monitors user-defined product categories, searches for trending and high-margin products based on demand signals, and runs competitor analysis across major marketplaces. Before uploading anything, it sends the owner a confirmation request — showing the product, pricing, margin estimate, and competitor data — and only proceeds once approved. After products are live, the same system manages orders, tracks inventory levels, triggers restock alerts, and handles customer-facing order status queries automatically.

Project Research
We began by mapping the client's entire store operations — from sourcing to fulfillment. The owner was spending 4 hours daily on product research alone, mostly on manual competitor checks across 3 platforms. We built a custom data pipeline that aggregates pricing, review counts, and search ranking data across competitor stores in real time. The approval workflow was designed after 3 rounds of feedback to ensure the owner felt fully in control while eliminating all the repetitive work. Shopify's API rate limits were carefully managed to avoid throttling during bulk operations.
Project Results
In the first month after deployment, the client added 140 new products to their store — compared to an average of 22 per month previously. Competitor pricing was being monitored across 6 rival stores in real time with zero manual effort. Order processing time dropped from 35 minutes per batch to under 4 minutes. The owner reclaimed approximately 25 hours per week previously spent on manual operations. Store revenue increased by 38% in the first 60 days, attributed directly to faster product launches and better competitive pricing.

What Our Clients Say
“Product research was eating four hours of my day. Telvus built a system that finds products, checks competitors, and uploads them after I approve. My store added more products last month than in the previous three months combined.”
